About

Hey, I'm Coldfire.

Open-format DJ, occasional MC, full-time student of the dance floor. I've spent twelve years learning what makes a room move, and I'd love to bring that to your night.

The story

Twelve years behind the decks

It started with a borrowed controller and a friend's birthday party where nobody danced until I stopped playing what I liked and started playing what they needed. That lesson stuck.

Since then it's been three hundred-plus events: ballroom weddings, warehouse parties, rooftop launches, hotel residencies and more than a few backyard birthdays. The common thread is simple. Watch the room, respect the moment, keep the energy honest.

Off the decks I'm a vinyl collector, a reluctant runner, and the person at every wedding quietly making sure the DJ booth cable isn't a trip hazard.

How it works

From first call to last song

01

We talk

A 20-minute call about your event, your crowd, and the songs you love and the ones you never want to hear.

02

I plan

You get a shared music brief and a run-of-show. I coordinate timing with your venue and planner so nothing gets missed.

03

We play

I arrive early, sound-check quietly, and run the night from first guest to last dance. Announcements included if you want them.

04

The afterglow

A recap playlist of what got played, so the night lives on past the night.

The setup

Gear you'll hear, not see

Everything is sized to the room and set up to disappear. Clean cable runs, black-draped booth, no clutter in your photos.

Sound

Powered speaker systems with subs for rooms up to 400 guests. Wireless mics for toasts and ceremonies.

Lighting

Warm uplighting for dinner, dance-floor wash for later. Colors matched to your palette, never a disco ball by default.

Backups

Redundant players, spare laptop, duplicate music library and a backup speaker. If something fails, you won't know.
